DAIKIN AIRCONDITIONERS - Inverter Models

Conventional air conditioners operate at a fixed speed, delivering a fixed amount of cooling and heating. While trying to maintain a set temperature they operate on the 'stop and start' principle.

A Daikin Inverter is a much more advanced technology that operates differently. It works like the accelerator of a car gently increasing or decreasing power. It reaches the desired temperature quicker and maintains it without wild fluctuations.

That means uninterrupted comfort and significant energy savings.

WHOLE-HOUSE COMFORT

Superior Intelligence. The new Daikin Super Inverter air conditioners are so intelligent that, when in Auto Mode, they consider all of the factors that effect your comfort such as outdoor and indoor temperatures, radiant heat from the sun's position on your house and heat generated by people in a room.

They then remember your preferred setting in similar conditions and make subtle adjustments to the temperature so you feel totally comfortable. Because this intelligence eliminates excessive cooling and heating it also achieves energy savings.

ENERGY SAVING

The new Daikin Super Inverter air conditioners use considerably less energy than non-inverter, conventional units.

Daikin's advanced technology is incorporated into a number of the Super Inverter Ducted's components which results in significantly lower energy costs.

Powerful magnets in the new Reluctance DC Compressor help generate more power using less energy. Outstanding energy savings are achieved, particularly when operating in the low-frequency zone. Daikin received the Japanese Electric Science and Promotion Prize for its innovative design.

WHY ZONE YOUR AIR CONDITIONING

The case for implementing a zoning strategy as part of your air-conditioning system is a compelling one. By seperating your home into zones you will reduce your upfront costs as well as reduce your ongoing running expenses (power usage). The cut away view to the right shows the ducts that direct the cool/warm air to the different zones, adjacent the cut away view is an example of a damper (air valve).

The damper can be used to modulate airflow to maintain a desired temperature in each zone. This type of control system is called VAV and is recognised by air - conditioning experts to be the best system of zoning. IAS has a range of products that start with simple on/off control through to high tech VAV. It is recomended that you speak to one of our consultants to deside which system is best for your home.
